VSF Associate Director (Boise/McCall)
Suzy Stride joined the University of Idaho as Associate Director of Development for the Vandal Scholarship Fund in January 2016. Her primary responsibilities include major gifts, annual giving, I Club, fundraising and execution of special events in Ada County and Canyon County.
Prior to joining Vandal Athletics, Suzy served as the Director of Donor Relations and Events with the Bronco Athletic Association at Boise State University. Prior to moving back to Boise in 2013, Suzy worked in Portland, OR for the Portland Timbers of MLS from 2005-2013 as the Director of Partner Activation & Suites. From 2002-2005, Suzy worked in golf promotions for Jeff Sanders Promotions, and was the Head Buyer/Merchandise Coordinator for large scale events, such as the Albertsons Boise Open.
Suzy was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and played college basketball for the University of Idaho from 1996-2002. She earned her BA in Communications in 2001. Suzy and her husband Eric live in Boise and have three children, Samantha, Madison & Jack.
VSF Associate Director (Boise/Southern Idaho)
Samantha Parrott joined the Vandal Scholarship Fund in December 2015 as Associate Director of Development. Her primary responsibilities include annual giving, major gifts and fundraising events in Ada County, the Magic Valley, Sun Valley and Southern Idaho. She is based out of the Idaho Water Center in Boise.
She is a 2012 University of Idaho graduate with a degree in Agribusiness. Samantha served as the 2011-2012 ASUI President and is originally from Rigby, Idaho.
Previously, Samantha worked as the Capital Campaign Coordinator for the Idaho Humane Society.
VSF Development Coordinator (Western Washington/Northern Oregon)
Troy Nealey is entering his second year with the University of Idaho. He will be primarily responsible for annual giving, fundraising and events in the Western Washington area.
Previously, Troy has been the Director of Development for two different non-profit organizations and a Development Assistant for Central Washington University. His career also includes more than 12 years of professional sales experience.
Troy was raised just west of Moscow in Whitman County and played college basketball at Central Washington University. He earned a BA in Communications in 2002 and a Master’s in Athletic Administration in 2013, both from CWU.
VSF Development Coordinator (North Idaho)
Shelly Robson ’91 served as Latah County Vandal Booster President twice during the 1990’s, was VSF National Board President in 1999 where the group had a record breaking fundraising year, she worked for more than 20 plus years as a volunteer for the VSF, Delta Gamma sorority chapter advisor from 1992-2005 and advised the Vandal Spirit Squad from 1996-2005. Shelly worked in the advertising industry for 10 years and in retail for more than 20 years when she owned Creighton’s for Women prior to moving to Coeur d’Alene. Shelly is married to Dr. Jim Robson ’69, they live in Hayden Lake.
VSF Development Coordinator (Moscow)
Emily Adams is entering her seventh year with the University of Idaho in the athletic development office serving as Development Coordinator of Internal Operations. Primary responsibilities include working with the Vandal Scholarship Fund and assisting with major gift fundraising for capital campaigns.
Emily also served as the Community Outreach Coordinator for Vandal Athletics in 2002-2003.
